Rejected Builder Mark, 2015

Created for a local construction firm specializing in custom millwork and cabinetry, this letter-based mark was intended to represent inlays, mitered joints, and radius corners that are common in finish carpentry and luxe woodwork.

Ultimately the client chose a more conservative “B” monogram and wordmark, but I’ve always liked this concept for its layered, concentric letterforms.
